1. What We Collect

When you submit the contact form on this website we collect the information you enter: name, email address, organization (optional), and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

If you engage IVolt for services, we collect only the information required to deliver those services — project scope, technical specifications, and contact information. We do not collect financial information directly; payment processing is handled by third-party processors under their own privacy policies.

Portal account registration collects: name, email address, account type, and organization name (for company and government accounts). Passwords are never stored in plain text.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect behavioral tracking data, advertising identifiers, or analytics profiles. We do not use third-party advertising networks on this website. We do not build profiles on website visitors. We do not record session activity beyond standard server access logs.

For security systems and IoT products deployed by IVolt, footage, sensor data, and operational telemetry remain on infrastructure you own and control. IVolt does not have access to that data unless you explicitly grant it for a support engagement, and that access is revoked when the engagement concludes.

3. How We Use Your Information

Contact form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to manage the service engagement. Portal account data is used to provide access to your personalized portal experience. We do not use contact or account information for marketing without explicit opt-in. We do not sell, license, or transfer personal information to third parties for any purpose.

4. Data Storage and Security

Contact form submissions, portal accounts, and client records are stored on IVolt-controlled infrastructure with access restricted to personnel involved in your engagement. Data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or to satisfy legal obligations.

For deployed systems, IVolt recommends and implements air-gapped or locally hosted storage architectures by default. Cloud storage for operational data is only used when explicitly specified and approved by the client.

5. Third Parties

This website uses Google Fonts for typography, which involves a request to Google servers when the page loads. No personal information is transmitted in that request beyond standard browser metadata. We do not embed social media widgets, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics on this site.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you, including portal account data. To make such a request, contact us at privacy@ivolt.io. We will respond within 30 days. Illinois residents have additional rights under the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and we honor those rights for all individuals regardless of location.

7. Cookies and Tracking

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. The portal uses session storage (cleared when the browser tab closes) to maintain your login state. No persistent tracking cookies are set.
